Between stories, she teaches culinary classes and writes a food column for her local newspaper. She is married to a West Texas cotton farmer and is raising a family of two children, three cats, three dogs and a husband.
She currently serves as the president of the San Angelo Writers Club. She is also a member of Romance Writers of America and belongs to the Kiss of Death and the Fantasy, Futuristic and Paranormal chapters.
